Omnimetrix is a federally chartered Canadian company incorporated in 1992 as a continuance of its sister company Omnitronix. In 1992, Omnitronix incorporated in 1972, transferred to Omnimetrix all the resources of Environmental Monitoring and Material Testing divisions including products, services, technology, expertise and personnel.

At present, Omnimetrix occupies office, service and warehouse facilities (4000sq ft) in Eastern Canada and supports satellite sales personnel in all major cities. Ninety percent to Omnimetrix staff hold a college level or diploma or a university level diploma.

In 2013, Omnimetrix opened an office in Italy to expand its reach into EU countries and Africa. Omnimetrix is investigating opening an office in Sri Lanka in 2014.

Omnimetrix Remote Monitoring Division is managed by Roger Teolis, P. Eng, who was originally employed by Hewlett Packard and later founded Omnitronix in 1992. Omnimetrix has successfully supplied automated hydro meteorological for flood and landslide warning applications in Canada, Hong Kong, China, British Guyana, Poland and Mexico.

Omnimetrix Material Testing Division is managed by Gerard Moudani, who has over 30 years of sales and service experience in Universal Material Testing Machines. This division imports high technology products in material testing from U S, Europe and Asia and distributes said products mostly in Canada and Africa to the industries related to construction, military, metallurgical, medical and plastics.
